1989 war der Startpunkt, an dem mir die Fahrzeugauswahl einfach nicht mehr reichte und so der erste Slot Racer unter dem Markennamen WHITE POINT entstand. WHITE POINT ergibt sich aus einem Startnummernkreis ohne Nummer. Anfangs noch Prototypen, die in sehr kleiner Stückzahl gefertigt wurden, wuchsen die Ansprüche besonders im Tourenwagen- und Prototypenbereich der 60er und 70er Jahre, so dass die Auswahl heute viele seltene Typen bereit hält.
WHITE POINT gehört damit zu den ersten Herstellern der Neuzeit, mit denen der Trend zum maßstäblichen Modell wieder eingeleitet wurde. Schnell erkannte ich, dass besonders jung Gebliebene am liebsten
mit 1:24 Fahrzeugen spielen und so wurde 1995 das ganze Programm auf den Big-Scale Maßstab konzentriert.
Ein besonderer Schritt war 1996 die Errichtung meines eigenen Werkzeugbaus, der die Form und Typenauswahl nachhaltig beeinflusste, so dass bis zum Erscheinen des aktuellen Kataloges ca.130 ver- schiedene Modelltypen produziert wurden.
Eine große Ehre war für mich die Wahl eines meiner Modelle zum MODELLFAHRZEUG des Jahres Kategorie “Slot” 1997, 1998, 2000 und 2004. Damit hat WHITE POINT klar bewiesen, dass gute Modelle auch zu günstigen Preisen konstruiert und produziert werden können.
Geschichte

130 different types of models were produced.
A great honor for me was the choice of one of my models for MODEL CAR of the Year category "Slot" in 1997,1998, 2000 and 2004. Thus WHITE POINT has clearly demonstrated that good models can be designed and produced even at low prices.

WHITE POINT résultats d'un grand nombre de départ sans nombre.
